Sports, Deep Tissue & Ayurvedic Yoga Massage
Trained as both a sports massage therapist and Ayurvedic Yoga massage I have a passionate interest in physiology and emotional wellbeing. I take the mindset that there is no “one size fits all” approach, as everyone is a unique and wonderful individual with different preferences and needs. Each session is tailored through pre-treatment consultation. Perhaps you have an injury that needs some attention? Or maybe today you’re needing to simply unwind and relax. We can explore a variety of techniques from deep pressure oil massage, stretches, mobilisations and tractions, all while in the cosy space of Soma Wellness. My practice is futon based and has a focus on breathing which helps the body to reach a further state of calm, allowing for even better outcomes as the body is best when there is a feeling of safety, equilibrium and tranquillity. In Ayurvedic yoga massage we use oil in combination with the dried and powdered root of Calamus which provides a pleasant and exfoliating sensation. To further help you relax we can add essential oils of your choosing.
